A Tribute to Thursday Night TV

So tonight is a pretty big night in our TV life!  The season premiere of The Office is tonight! This is a big season because it's Steve Carrell's (Michael Scott) last season (this is where you can insert a big, sad, upset face).  Although, we've always been loyal Office fans, we will be even more dedicated to this season!  Can you tell how much we love this show yet?!  I was supposed to go visit the set and meet the cast this past spring with my bestie, Anna, but SOMEBODY (me) was just a bit too prego to fly to L.A.... (i'm still dealing with this, hahaha). But just for fun, if you want to see some HER experience click here and here and also here! It's also the season premiere of Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice! Not to mention i'm going to have to go back and watch Project Runway...

Plus I got my October edition Country Living in the mail yesterday and I'm putting it aside until tomorrow...if that tell's you anything about this night!

uuuuggghhh

Hopefully I can delete this post in the near future, BUT for now i'm pretty annoyed because although I can look at the pictures in iphoto it's not giving me the option to add any of them to my post!!!  So although there are SO many other good pictures from this weekend, including a LOT of cute ones with Emily and also with Eli (Em's nephew / Chris and April's little one).  There are some cute ones on their blog, also.  So it doesn't look like the post from this past weekend is going to be that grand, but we sure did have a great time!
Hang'n out with Toby while Dad and Kasey keep a close eye!
Best place to be on a Fall saturday

Grandpa Time

These are some sweet pictures from this past weekend of Georgia with her Grandpa!

Excitment!

I'm beyond excited about this weekend!!!  Jason and I are taking the bean and going to see my parents in Georgia!

What does this mean, you ask?!  Well, let me tell you...A LOT!  As I might have mentioned before I love Fall, and Fall gets started just a tad earlier where I grew up than it does here.  So that's exciting!  But on the list of things to do are:
Jason going striper fishing with Dad
The great-grandmothers coming over to see and love on the bean
SEEING EMILY!!!
*Ok, Emily has been one of the most special people in the world to me!  She loved me through the embarrassing high school years (so yeah...she gets a prize)!  But our schedules never, i mean NEVER, work out to see each other.  So the bean is meeting my sweet Emmy Lou along with the rest of the amazing Bluster clan on Saturday.  So yeah...I'm just a little excited!*
(and yes, these are both old pictures)

Cooking out all day
Eating lots of boiled peanuts
Watching UGA v. AK
Eating more boiled peanuts by the fire

So have a great weekend, like we're about to have, and I promise to have some fun pictures!

Afternoon Delight

There were so many things I could have named this post, but I just decided to keep it simple and let you form your own thoughts about these! hahaha...
HAPPY MONDAY!
Daddy time
Mommy time

A Visit from the Cuz

Thad (Jason's brother), Lara, and Shep decided to stop in Newberry and stay the night this past weekend! SO FUN!
So on Saturday morning, when we were ALL still in our p.j.'s we took some pictures of the kid-o's!
and kisses
love'n Aunt Lara

Muscadines

Another reason I love Fall: my parent's (Dad's) muscadine vine!
Thanks Dad, love you the most!

One Big Sad Day

I guess this title is a bit dramatic, but it's true.  Georgia watched her first UGA game today (which makes it a "big" day) and the Dawgs couldn't pull out a win to save their life... (which makes it a "sad" day).  So that is the reason for the title.  But we watched the game anyway and she actually did watch the game!
Adorable!
Then Jason came home to rub it in my face that Carolina was winning and Bean got all excited again.
I don't think I have to tell anyone how much she adores her Dad!
She couldn't take anymore...she had to look away

Back to The Bean! ...and Charleston!

Labor Day weekend was fun, productive, much needed, and slightly relaxing (i know these words are a weird combo).  We headed out to Charleston and stayed with some friends of Jason's family.  It was amazing!
We got to wake up to this every morning
This is the mouth to Shem Creek, one of Jason's most beloved spots in Charleston.
So we thought it would be special if Jason took Georgia to really take it all in for the first time (and of course I had to document the occasion).
LOVE THEM

We also got to see some of our good friends, the Gregorie's, and took full advantage of the pool!

Sweet September

This is definitely a post I could write a million different things on.  I can't tell you how much I love Fall.  I know Fall doesn't officially start until September 21 (yes, it's marked on my calendar), and i know it's still a million degrees outside, but... IT'S SEPTEMBER!!!  My fourth favorite month of the year behind
#1: August (Birthday month)
#2 December (Christmas & the Hub's Birthday month)
#3 November (Thanksgiving and the best part of College Football)
Who knew I had my months listed in order until I started writing this blog!

September starts the three lovely F's: Fall, Football, & Fashion!!!
Fall has always ALWAYS been my favorite season because of bonfires, comfortable outdoor cooking (i.e. stew, chili, boiled peanuts, etc.)
And, seriously, seriously...who doesn't love GEORGIA FOOTBALL! Jason is even starting to make his way over from the dark side... carolina...
I'm so glad he has seen the light
Fall Fashion!  Who are we kidding, this is the best season for fashion!  boots, and layering, and scarves ("OH MY!" - I just had to say that)
