Welcome Georgia Elaine Vincent!

Our sweet girl was born on her due date of April 25 at 7:48 p.m. She was 8 pounds 20 inches and healthy as a horse! We are both so incredibly in love with her and are beyond happy; tired, but happy! Everything that people told us, "You'll forget what life was like without her," etc.... SO TRUE! We've had so much fun with her and it's only getting better! Here are some pictures from the hospital.
About 12 hours into labor, finally leaving the house
Jason thought taking pictures during labor were necessary
SHE'S HERE!!!

Newberry Baby Shower

We had so much fun at this shower that our sweet friends in Newberry hosted; John & Heather, Cat & Shay, and Charlie & Cayci! It was a couples shower so i tried to let jason open as many of the gifts as possible (it was hard, to say the least)! We got so many things we REALLY needed like bottles. Thanks again everybody!
LOVE!

1st Baby Shower!

I had SUCH a great time at my first baby shower! We got to have brunch and then open gifts and there were SO many CUTE things to open. I know I'm getting carried away with the "all-caps", but it's just so amazing to see how Georgia is already so loved.Lara & Anna, my amazing hostesses, and Cat!

Updated Nursery

These are a few pictures Jason took yesterday of the nursery. Only a few more things to do, but we're SO excited about meeting our little girl!

I had my first baby shower this weekend (pictures to come). After the shower it was so special to be able to put up all the little girl clothes for my daughter WITH my mother! Just knowing she had done the very same thing when she was pregnant with me was so crazy to stop and really think about. I pray that Georgia and I have that amazing relationship that my mom and I have shared!

Nursery Work Day

Here are a few pictures of all the work we've been doing in the nursery! It's still a work in progress but we're almost done! And I'm pretty sure my mom is going to kill me for posting one of these pictures...LOVE YOU!

Dad and I put the crib together for his Granddaughter (still so weird to think about our parents being grandparents)! This was the same kind of crib he put together for me, and Jason had the same one too. I'm sure a good portion of our generation had this crib, but it's still sweet!

Relaxing Weekend

Jason and I were finally able to get away for a short weekend with another couple to do absolutely NOTHING! and it was perfect! We went into town for a minute and saw Chimney Rock, but it was so cold we just went back and got cozy in front of the fire!

Georgia's Room

A few weekends ago my parent's we're able to come in town and help us get the nursery going! Dad and I put the crib together and mom painted the armoire. We finally got to roll out the rug Grams got "us" (Georgia) for Christmas! And mom finished making the awesome crib skirt from the fabric we found! We're so blessed to have such talented family members. Here are some pictures of the room now, but I've got to get the pictures from mom's camera of the "work in progress"!
Mom is still making the bumper so we don't have it on or the mobile up yet.
Our RUG!!!
(Nobody worry, we're switching out the table and getting rid of all the cords.)

Our House- Work!!!

So I know I'm a little late on the "work" portion of our house, but here are some pictures of all the amazing help we had making our house a home!
Colleen and Mom helped get the all the wallpaper stripped and walls prepped for painting week. (Bathroom)
As much as I love some of our ceilings being the old original bead board, it was a pain to scrape, caulk, and paint. But we're glad! (Bathroom)

Then Mom decided at 10:30 p.m. on the first night that she was going to see what was under the wallpaper on the ceiling of the breakfast nook...go figure...MORE BEAD BOARD!

Later that week...still working...Thanks Mrs. Ann!

Learning how to spackle. Not too shabby! (Master Bedroom)
Heather trying to tackle the cranberry dinning room. Such a trooper!

Jon installing ONE of the many things he helped install in our house (shortly before he painted the ceiling).

Colleen branding our Living room wall with our initials

Painting trim pretty late at night (hallway)

Just tired...resting with Kayla

Dad and his crew (Uncle Jim, Bub & Ed) came and built our deck that we LOVE!!!

SOOO excited!

Dad and Marshal ripped off the old, rotting siding and framed a new spot for a window in the laundry room
